HRFC Update 110425

Hello Members,
A few reminders of what is still to come this month.
  • HRFC April Meeting:
This month’s meeting will be held this coming Sunday (13th April) at the usual time of 11am start, with a BBQ lunch to follow at noon. Try to be there if you can.
  • Concreting:
The concreting of the two hangar aprons (Western end of H1 & H2) and some work around the clubhouse that was scheduled for this week has been delayed but we are hoping it will commence this coming week.
  • HVGC Easter Vintage Rally:
As previously advised, the Hunter Valley Gliding Club’s Easter Vintage Rally will again be held on Easter Saturday this year (April 19th)  at the Glider Club’s strip Warkworth NSW.
  • ANZAC Day Fly-past:
A group of our members (Keith, John, Andrew and Alan) will be joined by Harry from RNAC to perform a four ship formation fly-past over the Anzac Day Services at Maitland, Branxton and Cessnock on Friday April 25th.
  • Wings Wheels & Wine:
Wings Wheels & Wine is on again at Mudgee on Easter Sunday (April 27th).
  • HRFC Fly-out to Maralinga:
A group of HRFC members will depart Cessnock for Maralinga on Monday (April 28th), This trip is expected to be of about 8 – 10 days duration.

Looks like a busy period around Easter this year. Anyway, let’s hope it all goes well and everyone has a good time and lots of Easter Eggs! 😁

That is it for now – Regards
