Hello Members,

Here are a few reminders to help keep you up to date on Club happenings.

• This Sunday at the clubhouse, an 11am start, with lunch at noon as usual.

• It was decided at the October meeting that we should not have a meeting in December unless something of importance comes up that requires us to reschedule.

• It was also agreed that the 2025 Christmas Lunch will be held at the clubhouse (similar to last year) – but we bring the date forward to the FIRST SUNDAY of the month (7th December), not the usual second Sunday because a number of our members have other family commitments so close to Christmas.

• At this stage, I have not spoken to all of our sponsors of last year. However, all of those that I have approached have been keen to support us again this year.
• Like last year, we will present the prizes at the Christmas Luncheon. The main difference this year comes from a number of our members suggesting that we share the prize pool amongst more of our members, and so to try to achieve that I thought that we should divide the main prize up to cover a first, second and third prize for those that have accumulated the most bonus tickets and the secondary prize to be a random draw of those members in attendance at the time.
• At this stage, I have assigned bonus tickets to all members based on meeting attendance so far this year, participation in the working bee, purchases from the club using the square card system and any purchases from the project sponsors that I am aware of. However, I do not know how much individual members have spent using cash at the club or how much with our sponsors unless you let me know, preferably by submitting a claim form.
• How to boost your chances by claiming bonus tickets. You can claim up to three sponsors on each claim form that you submit – it is that easy. and each $10 spent will earn you one bonus ticket and don’t forget that if you had (or have) other family members or friends with you at the time of the purchase, you can claim the entire bill up to a maximum of $500.00. • CASA has now confirmed the date for this year’s AvSafety Seminar at the club as Friday evening December 5th commencing at 6pm.
• If you plan to attend (and please do), it will be appreciated by both CASA and the committee if you register your intention. A flyer is attached.
•  AND your attendance will earn you another five bonus tickets in the prize draw.
