A group of HRFC Member’s in four aircraft has departed Cessnock at a little after 9am this morning to re trace the ill fated 1929 flight of the  Westland Widgeon “Kookaburra” that made a forced landing in the Tanami Desert resulting in the loss of both onboard. A big Centenary celebration at Longreach 14 to 16 August 2020. Start planning NOW for the post (COVID-19) apocalypse period. A flight of aircraft from the HV would be great. Could be something to bring YMND/YWVA/YSCO together. Could have breakfast at Quirindi and lunch at Moree.

Hey Everybody Who would be keen on a Breakfast or Lunch fly away, somewhere close not to big. This could possibly be a good motivation booster for members. Possibly do Scone, Mudgee, Old Bar. Anyone else have location suggestions? Cheer Jack

Thinking about arranging a fly away. Where we have the opportunity to either do a TIF in a glider or a fun flight in a glider. Thought maybe a Saturday  morning flight to Temora , gliding in the arvo. And if you have not seen the museum recently you could fit in a visit there
