Sad news unfortunately – I have been advised that John Redwood’s father (and HRFC Member) Norman Redwood passed away this morning at age 97.
Norm had been a Social Member of our club for a number of years and I am sure that all members that have had the pleasure of knowing him will join me in conveying our sympathy and condolences to the family and in particular to John.
John is an active member of our club committee, a syndicate member in Tecnam Sierra 8023 and is in the process of completing an aircraft restoration in hangar 8 and I am sure that Norm was looking forward to a flight in this one as he had done on a number of occasions with John in the Tecnam.
Norm will be missed by all that knew him.
