Additional security cameras have been installed around the airport to support ongoing NSW Police operations.

All Cessnock Airport premises must lock their gate/s and or lock the public access entrances to assist in preventing unauthorised access to your facility and airport airside access when your facility is closed or staff are out flying.Solutions are being evaluated reference entry to the SW hangars via the De Havilland Drive gate.

Please ensure that you do your part to assist by keeping all airport gates closed and locked where appropriate and report to the NSW POLICE on 000 or Airport Admin any suspicious activities seen on (02) 4993 4228 (24 hours)

CCC eMail 2:

Dear President Hunter Recreational Flyers Club,

Recreational Aviation Australia (RAA) have granted access to Cessnock Airport the RAA database to allow for billing of the flights conducted by RA aircraft at Cessnock Airport.

Please note the Airport will be back-billing for flights from July 01 2021 to current.

There has been minimal activity over the period so charges will not be overly high, but as the weather improves and Covid restrictions lessen, more flying will occur and members can expect billing charges.

Rates for RA aircraft are $8.18 excl GST per 20 minutes of use, Avdata will only charge for once in the 20 minute period.

Should pilots experience runway incursions etc. that increase flight times, an ATSB report will be required detailing the incident as evidence to have charges reversed.

Undecipherable or shortened call signs will be forwarded to the club for verification and identification.

Please advise your members to expect charges in the month of November for any flight activities from Jul 01 2021 till current period.
